Summary: A very simple pattern of hexagonal flat single-ply, mahogany fretwork, with embouchures for maker's label and for a serial number present on subfret line baffles. The fretwork-frame and action frame are of solid mahogany

End Shape: Hexagonal

End Sides: Six

End Diameter: 151mm

End-Profile: Flat

End Material: The fretwork-frame and action frame are solid mahogany, with the edge of the mahogany action board visible on the edge profile

End Bolts: Domed mild-steel wood-screws, inserting directly to bellows fram, no metal inserts.

Fret Pattern: Later Chidley pattern - oval label cartouche, small oval LH number cartouche.

Label Embouchure Pattern: Oval to RH, small oval to LH

Strap Screw-insert type: No inserts - screws direct to action frame.

Finger-rest: Standard format curved-end brass finger-rests, with full leather cladding. Three small securing screws, unlike previous 24-Key instrument which have two.

Fret Condition: Fine

Damage Summary: Case top strap and RH thumbstrap missing.
